Do stairlifts attach to the wall or stairs?

Stairlifts attach to your stairs and not your wall. There will be no wall damage.

Do stairlifts run by battery or household power?

Stairlifts contain batteries and run off of battery power but are plugged in to household power to charge the lift at either the top and bottom, or elsewhere on the track.
